The Dog Days of Summer – 1

The Dog Days of Summer – 1

I’m still in the process of setting up my Blog Production Space, so this will have to do for a post. Getting a new monitor, setting up a permanent audio recording space, scheduling recurring blocks on the calendar, etc. This is all because I work from home and have too much spare time. So blogging.

I have two more posts all written up, ideas for two more, and a huge pile of stories to draw from. But there’s a pull to produce videos. The idea is that a blog post will basically be a short video with a loose transcript and links. But the space isn’t ready yet.

My Muse

You’re Not Playing With Me

This is my daily companion, Atomic. He was initially going to be named Atomic Muffin, but we knew we’d never repeat all that every day. So Atomic it is. He’s a 90lb teddy bear.

He exhibits strong will and clear communication of what he wants. If you’re walking him and suddenly feel your arm trying to pull a boulder, it means Atomic wants to cross the street. If you’re slow putting that together, he’ll casually turn his head in that direction, as well. Then stare at you with his paws dug into the concrete.

It’s entirely unreasonable how perfect he is. For an Aries, I mean. He’s very emotionally intelligent, and learns tricks…if I hike over Lazy Mountain to teach him anything.

We love getting out, but right now it’s summer. He overheats pretty quickly. So there’s a lot of laying about, and me feeling wee-guilty about not doing more. But at the end of the day, he just wants to chew stuff in different landscapes. And there’s plenty to chew in the air conditioning. (Somebody spoils him with toys.)

Potentially interesting is his unique dream life. We’ve had 6 dogs and none ever demonstrated his rich dream world. It’s not uncommon for us to be woken at 3am as he howls in his sleep at something. More often, he makes distressed noises or seems to chase things. He spends most of his life with me in a house, so I wonder how I figure in these dramas.

We’re grateful to have this wellspring of good energy and protector in the home.

Back in the Digital Saddle

Back in the Digital Saddle
I’ve been on hiatus, you might say.

The last 5 years have seen an explosion of metaphysically-oriented videos, with highly diverse topics and people. For me, a good near-death story, with unexpected helpers or a weird twist, is lovely. People taken by (or living with) ET’s, or secretly working alongside ET’s, are also Matt bait. Sincerity, and the absence of self-aggrandizement or a profit motive, is dessert.

MattSeven.com will often refer to material on YouTube and Gaia. Think of Gaia as YouTube for people who love metaphysical stuff and hate commercials. If that describes you, it’s worth a subscription to either or both. The quality of material is uneven on both platforms, but you get better finding your version of the good stuff. Don’t let the potholes ruin your ride.

This blog will offer commentary on a variety of signs that the times are changing.

Steven Greer is one of the most popular There-Is-Intelligent-Life-in-the-Universe people. I’ve recently had a Greerfest after a decade of avoiding him. Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind is a decent movie, and he had worthwhile things to share at Gaiasphere 2021. His work is highly important. I’ll be pulling particular things out to discuss.

Most modern metaphysical, UFO/UAP, and ET-related discussion seems to circle around what you might get to do, or have. Particular psychic abilities are also promoted this way. Advanced technologies and “powers” are shiny objects to grab a human brain’s attention. But they don’t save humanity or the universe from anything. The universe could survive on druidism.

Truth is, in contrast to UFO’s and psychic powers, the big picture doesn’t seem very useful to stare at. Not to most people, anyway. The idea that galaxies are conscious evolving beings, participating in the evolution of the universe itself, feels distant and irrelevant. Yet that’s the scale I’m starting at.

Metaphorically speaking, I see universes like mason jars lined up on a kitchen shelf. Whoever’s living there has some strange pickling recipes. And that just about satisfies my curiosity for the mechanics of it all. Because at a high enough level, a universe and everything in it is thought, born from thought. And all the modeling between there and here is more comedy than science.

The Bubble Nebula

So we wind up in the abstract realm of Spirituality. And who the hell wants that? Well, me I guess. The whole Quantum Reality thing is making the evolution of consciousness – at every scale – an inevitable discussion. The connections between galaxies, solar systems, ET’s and organic forms absorb me. “Literally,” as the influencers say.

Luckily, I’m not alone. A fellow seeker, “Tim,” has been a consultant between Germany and many “Greys.” They’re extradimensional extraterrestrials often associated with the Zeta Reticuli star system, and apparently Germans love them. Tim is the first person in the ET-focused community I’ve encountered who excitedly integrates high-level spiritual consciousness, useful metaphysical models, and ET involvement in the modern era in a way that resonates for me.

In any case, you can find a growing pile of Gaia and YouTube discussions by searching “Tim Tactical” or “Tim Tactics.” And aside from the people referenced in this post, I’d strongly recommend watching Cosmic Disclosure beginning at season 14.
